Holy Week Gijón 2026
· First Sidre'l Year 2026
The Primer Sidre l'Añu event will be held again at the Luis Adaro fairgrounds in Gijón. 2 from April to 5 The grand cider tasting will take place, marking the start of the cider season. The competition to select the Best First Cider of the Year will be held, choosing the cider with the best organoleptic characteristics from the newly opened barrels. It is organized by the Asturies XXI Foundation.

Holy Week Avilés 2026

Saturday April 04 from 2026 at 19:00 p.m., at the Niemeyer Center.
This 2015 production by the Gran Teatre del Liceu of Bellini's most famous work, by the last and greatest composer of bel canto, was one of the most acclaimed of its decade. Critics hailed Sondra Radvanovsky's performance as "historic." Tickets are available at the Niemeyer Center box office. Price: €12.

Holy Week Llanes 2026
· IX Tortos Festival
Friday, April 3rd, from 12:30 pm. Tortos with minced meat, cheese and honey, ratatouille. Bar and good music.

Friday 3 of April.
Riensena celebrates Good Friday with one of the most unique events of the week in the eastern region. After midday mass at the local chapel, the traditional San Antonio auction begins, where gifts donated by residents and visitors are auctioned off. The proceeds go to the chapel and the San Antonio festival. At the Riensena auction, items such as cornbread, rice pudding, and other dishes prepared by the locals are sold, along with food baskets, beans, butter, honey, free-range eggs, homemade jams, and liqueurs. After the auction, the residents offer a traditional Asturian cider tasting (espicha) to those present.
Holy Week Ribadesella 2026
· VII Festival of the Pregnant Borona
It will be held on Thursday April 2in the tent set up in Plaza Nueva. It will begin at 12 noon.
Registration is open from March 16th to 27th. Who can participate? Anyone from Ribadesella or elsewhere is welcome to participate.
Where do I sign up? At the House of Culture or by calling 985 861 123.
Following the awards ceremony, there will be a tasting of the submitted boronas (cornbread), accompanied by cider. The Ribadesella Ethnographic Society will also offer farrapes (a type of bread pudding) for anyone who wants to try them. The Ribadesella Band (@bgribeseya) will provide the music for this event, which will share the space with the Ribadesella Producers and Artisans Market.
