Valdés
Valdés is a municipality in Asturias whose capital is Luarca. It is located in western Asturias and its economy is based on fishing, trade, tourism, livestock and agriculture. Birthplace of D. Severo Ochoa de Albornoz (1905-1993), Luarqués scientist awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1959.
