Festivities of National Tourist Interest

In the Asturian calendar of festivals and events, some enjoy the distinction of "national tourist interest," which makes them, in their own way, "more important," and also "more crowded and spectacular" than others. These festivals are usually related to Asturian folklore and traditions or to the most outstanding products of its gastronomy.
