Municipality on the western coast of Asturias, closely linked to fishing and the canning industry. Tapia is a town famous for the quality and beauty of its beaches -Serantes, La Paloma, Mexota-, and also has a beautiful fishing port. Together with Luarca or Navia, it is one of the most popular fishing villages in western Asturias.
