Somiedo
Somiedo Natural Park is the cornerstone of this region. Its high natural and ethnographic value is remarkable: traditional thatched houses (pallozas), lakes, forests, and valleys. In the nearby municipalities, you can explore the Bear's Trail (Senda del Oso) , a 40-kilometer cycling route through Santo Adriano , Proaza , Teverga , and Quirós . Other highlights in the area include the protected landscape of Pico Caldoveiro , the Maravio Mountain Passes Natural Monument , and the Xanas Gorge . Further scenic landscapes can be found in Grao , Las Regueras , and Belmonte de Miranda.
