The 6th Season of the Leonard Cohen Chair's Singer-Songwriter Series will be held November 27rd – 30th at the Historic Building of the University of Oviedo and the Philharmonic Theatre. The Cohen Chair program features Faustino Núñez, Marcelo de la Puebla, Antonio Martínez Ares, Sheila Blanco, Alexis Díaz-Pimienta, Elena Merino, and María Esteban.
The 6th season of the singer-songwriter series enCOHENtros will bring together seven musicians, singers, writers, journalists, and educators in Oviedo from November 27th to 30th for a program that includes musical discussions, lectures, panel discussions, and film screenings. enCOHENtros is organized by the Leonard Cohen Chair at the University of Oviedo and is funded by the Oviedo City Council's Municipal Culture Foundation, with the collaboration of the Cajastur Foundation. All events are free, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis. This year, enCOHENtros will pay tribute to Professor Javier García Rodríguez, the first director of the Leonard Cohen Chair, who recently passed away.
