The house is located in the center of a valley in the village of Careses, parish of Vega de Poja in the municipality of Siero. Surrounding this valley on its north face is a limestone Crest called Peña Careses, unique in the council. Modeled by a characteristic relief that has originated caves and limestone cliffs that offer tourists the possibility of caving and climbing. Already in the center of the valley the wide green meadow predominates, with punctual spots of native oak and chestnut forest. The house is immersed in an agricultural exploitation unit, (Asturian farmhouse), where a livestock farming economy is developed, which encourages the existence of natural products.
