It is a old and typical Asturian house located in a quiet village at 4 km. from Oviedo; It is the so-called Mariñana house found in the central area of the principality.
Downstairs they had the stable and the kitchen, and upstairs the sleeping spaces. It has the charm of the old and the practicality of modern restoration.
Surrounded by chestnut and walnut mountains, with up to 12 hiking trails full of amazing vegetation with long and short routes. From its corridor there are splendid views towards the mountains of Aramo, Picu Castiellu, La Grandota… Going down 1/2 km. we have the valley of the Nalón, a river formerly charcoal burner and now recovered as a trout. Because of its privileged situation 4 km. from the Asturian capital, we have all the pre-Romanesque art, to 3 km. the Church of Bendones, the Mining and Cider Museums. A 30 km. is Gijón, the beautiful beaches of the coast of Asturias and its interior and coastal cuisine no more than 30 minutes from the house.
FACILITIES
The house is fully rehabilitated, respecting all the original architecture that has been improved. Living room with wood burning fireplace, fully equipped ceramic hob, bathroom on the upper floor and toilet on the lower floor. On the top floor there is four rooms and a great corridor. The heating is electric in this plant. There is a private outdoor parking with capacity for two cars, with roof and garden environment (conserved structure of panera-horreo). In the living room there is a library and games.
ROOMS
It has four bedrooms. One bedroom with two beds (1.05 each) another 1.35 and the third 1.20. The fourth destined to service of iron and ordered clothes, (more interior) but no less cozy. The original chestnut furniture very well preserved, hand carved. There are three large capacity cabinets.

HOW TO GET THERE
From Oviedo to San Lázaro (south round) take the as-242 towards Mieres. After the gas station (Galp brand) and San Esteban de las Cruces, follow the same as-242 until the "El Codejal" turnoff, on the left (4km.) And go down 1 km. to the village.
