The capital of the municipality of Cabranes, Santolaya, will host a new edition of its famous rice pudding festival, on the days 9, 10 and 11 May, within the program of the festivities of San Francisco de Paula. During Sunday morning You can taste Cabranes rice pudding for free, celebrating at the same time a traditional market of crafts and agri-food products from the area.

· 20:00 p.m. · Ceremony of prizes for the Pouring Contest.
· 21:00 p.m. · Opening of the festivities at the María Josefa Canellada House of Culture by the Official Chronicler of the Council Mr. Enrique Conipio Monestina, appointment of representatives of the festivals, Xana, Xanina, Xanu and Xanin of the Festival and presentation of the Festival's commemorative painting, work of the local Artist, Saints Monestina.
· 21:30 p.m. · Placing the umbrella on the tree in Emigrant Plaza which, according to tradition, will scare away the orbayu during the festivities. The chupinazu will then kick off the San Francisco 2025 festivities.
· 22:00 p.m. · 16th Cabranes Neighborhood and Friendship Day with the Great Barbecue-Dinner in the Plaza del Emigrante by the Asador “El Pintxu” in Granda.

At 00:16 p.m. lunch and at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. return home by bus.

· 09:30 p.m. · Official reception of the different Gastronomic Brotherhoods invited to the 10th Grand Chapter of the Brotherhood of Rice Pudding Welcome and Cabranés Breakfast.
· 10:30 p.m. · Civic parade through the streets of Santa Eulalia of the Brotherhoods accompanied by the Villaviciosa El Gaitero Bagpipe Band and the Villaviciosa Aires Folk Group of Asturias.
· 11:OO h · Closing reception of participants in the Festival Contest.
· 11:30 p.m. · Act of the X Grand Chapter of the Brotherhood of Rice Pudding, in the Plaza del Emigrante, with the presentation of new brothers and the oath. Opening of the Contest stand in the Plaza del Emigrante of Santolaya de Cabranes.
· 12:00 p.m. · Mass in Honor of San Francisco de Paula at the Parish Church of Santa Eulalia, followed by the traditional procession to the Plaza del Emigrante, accompanied by the Villaviciosa Bagpipe Band 'El Gaitero' and the Villaviciosa Aires de Asturias Folk Group.

Institutional Act of the XLVI Rice Pudding Festival.
Presented by Maria Ruisánchez. Presentation of the "Golden Grain of Rice" award to the seven scholars of Asturian cider culture. Featuring a performance of an Asturian song by Cabranés singer Lolo'l Cantu.

Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias
During the course of the festival, the Brotherhood of Rice Pudding awards the title of "Grand Master of Rice Pudding» to that person who, due to their age, accumulates the greatest number of awards achieved in previous editions and the city council recognizes, within the framework of the institutional act of the festival, the grandparents of the council, to distinguish the elderly.
