This beach is approximately 240 meters long and 69 meters wide. Porcía Beach has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most beautiful in western Asturias . It is usually quite crowded, being a semi-urban beach ; it is sandy and features several islands: Isla Grande, Isla Pequeña, and Gavioteiro.
It has road access from the N-634 by a local road that is entered from El Franco and in whose term there is an immediate parking area to the beach. It can also be reached from Campos and Salave, in Tapia de Casariego.
