A tour through the most rural Asturias… an experience that you will love!!

1. WALK THROUGH THE TOWN OF SIRVIELLA
a nice One kilometer guided walk along the rural roads of Sirviella, known locally as caleyas. During the walk we will learn about this particular landscape, its location and the impact of livestock in the Picos de Europa National Park. We will discover the traditional Asturian architecture (hórreos, paneras, bread ovens, houses with wooden corridors,...) as well as the local orchard products, among which is the apple tree plantation, known as Pomarada and other products related to the cider. The rest of the activities will be at the La Casería family farm.

2. THE LAGAR OF CIDER
In this room we will try a culin of our homemade apple cider. We will explain the ancient art of cider making and we will teach our visitors our technique of serving our cider, called escanciado.

3. THE FARM
Our garden shows a replica of a shepherd's hut like the ones you will find in Los Picos de Europa, where people lived and made our most precious cheese: El Gamonéu. At this stage, visitors will learn the cheese making process, you will observe some native breeds of cattle raised on our pastures (Pita Pinta, Asturcón, Oveya Xalda) and we will continue talking about more herding traditions that still remain in this national park.

4. GASTRONOMY
We will end the tour with a taste of our best local cuisine, offering visitors a Lunch with a wide variety of tapas, the best local products, and artisanal apple cider made in our winery. We want our guests to satisfy their appetite, but also to enjoy this unique and unforgettable experience in a pleasant atmosphere.
