The beach has a length of six hundred meters with sand and areas of rocks and dunes. The western area is called Las Barqueras, and the eastern area Castro because near the beach there is a fort from Roman times. It is an ideal place for bathing and also meets good conditions for diving and surfing.
Otur beach is accessed from the N-634, between the homonymous population and that of Sabugo, traveling about 800 meters. You can reach the sand by car; although you must park in the area enabled as parking. Otur beach can also be reached by rail; the nearest station is in Piniello, at 3 kilometers.
