In Gijón/Xixón the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Education and Popular University has organized, in collaboration with the city's art galleries and other cultural institutions, the White Night for more than ten years. The chosen date is the last Friday of the month of September, marking the beginning of the new artistic season in the city. In the 2024 edition the celebration is September 27.
