On the Asturian coast, in the town of Salinas —very close to the city of Avilés—you'll find a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the sea. There, you can stroll through the Anchor Museum, located on the same grounds as the viewpoint. You'll admire a collection of both antique and modern anchors displayed in an exceptional setting. Among the most valuable pieces is the anchor from the Spanish galleon "Nuestra Señora de Atocha ," which sank off the coast of Florida in 1628 while returning to Spain laden with gold and silver.

On a rock battered by the sea, the Peña Lisa, stands the large bronze bust of Philippe Cousteau , the son of the renowned diver and submariner Jacques Cousteau with his famous ship Calypso, a symbol of a life dedicated to the sea and whose human and scientific values have been amply proven throughout the world.

A suspension bridge allows us to access the viewpoint, from which we can contemplate a fabulous panoramic view of Salinas and its surroundings . From this place, we complete a unique experience, letting ourselves drift towards the horizon.
