Of great beauty, with crystal-clear waters and a unique, large islet that, running north-south, divides the beach in two. It is very close to the border with the province of Galicia, as Tapia de Casariego is one of the westernmost municipalities in the region.

Although not officially a nudist beach, Mexota Beach has become a popular meeting place for those who enjoy this way of experiencing nature. It is located in the municipality of Tapia de Casariego . The beach is approximately 240 meters long and 60 meters wide, and it is moderately busy during the summer season. This sheltered and secluded beach has no promenade and is primarily composed of white sand. The sea is usually moderately rough and windy.
