    It could be a simple beach bar, but Chus Paradelo and Marigel Tano have opted for something very differentHe, a cook by vocation and the son and nephew of traditional cooks, grew up surrounded by pots and stews at the fondly remembered Panduku and La Costana, one of the gastronomic temples of the Club de Guisanderas de Asturias (Asturias Cooks' Club). She, a hotelier "by love"—as they say—brings that warm and friendly touch that makes every visit an experience.

    After a period in Ibiza, where Chus ran a restaurant that many customers still remember with nostalgia, they both returned to Asturias to settle in this little paradise. Here, by the sea, they have created a space where you can eat well all year round. —not just in summer— and where every dish has a story behind it.

    A letter thought out with head and heart
    The menu at La Playa by Chus is short, but very well thought out: It combines options to suit all tastesFrom homemade croquettes or family pizzas to rice dishes or Asturian classics such as chipirones afogaos, pixín a la gallega, ribilla de vacuno mayor or cachopo.

    Drunch: The Perfect Sunset
    As evening falls, it's time for Drunch, a more relaxed and sophisticated version of brunch. Served from 18:00 pm to 20:00 pm, including holidays, inside the restaurant, it's ideal for refueling after work, enjoying an early dinner, or simply whiling away the afternoon with good music, good company, and some snacks. It includes: ham and cured beef, a cheese board, a mixed salad with prawns, lemon sorbet with cava, homemade ham croquettes, chicken fingers…
