Jet is a shiny black mineral; It is not a variety of lignite as it appears in some texts, it originated from tree trunks of the Araucaráceas and Protopinaceae families buried and subjected to high pressure. Is a very abundant mineral in Asturias and it has been used since ancient times as a semi-precious stone. In these three summer fairs you can find a wide variety of jewelry made with this peculiar element.
We invite you to participate and attend the Azabache Monographic Fairs 2025 organized by the Acebache Association in collaboration with the City Councils of Ribadesella and Tazones (Villaviciosa), the Tazones Fishermen's Guild and the Department of Industry and Employment of the Government of the Principality of Asturias.
