This 2025 the 54th Hazelnut Festival is celebrated Sunday October 5The Mercáu de Mestres (Masters' Market) takes place on Saturday, October 4th.
On Friday, October 3, the Piloña City Council's Home Care staff will announce the Festival. The Locals of the Year will be Alicia Rivera Blanco and Javier Lavandera Cantora, who will collect their awards at the same official ceremony prior to Sunday.
Wednesday 1 October
Starting at 10:30 a.m., the official event commemorating the International Day of Older Persons will be organized by the Ministry of Social Rights and Welfare (La Benéfica).
At 8:00 p.m. Presentation of the 23rd PILOÑA BTT COUNCIL ROUND TOUR and PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION (Marqués de Vistalegre Cultural Center).
Thursday 2 October
At 19:00 p.m., FAMILY THEATRE with the performance of THE WINDING CHIGRE by the Saltantes Theatre company (Alberto Rodríguez, Nerea Vázquez, Luis Alija, and David Varela – TPA). (Marqués de Vistalegre Cultural Centre).
Friday 3 October
· Starting at 19:00 p.m., LAKADARMA Pipe Band.
· At 20:00 p.m., OPENING GALA OF THE 54RD HAZELNUT FESTIVAL, proclamation by the HOME HELP STAFF OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILOÑA.
· Tribute to the countryman and countrywoman of the year: ALICIA RIVERA BLANCO and JAVIER LAVANDERA CANTORA
· Next up, “ANABEL SANTIAGO” in concert.
Saturday 4 October
