The building that houses the Hotel Casa Soto is built according to the models of the typical architecture of western Asturias: stone masonry on the walls and slate slabs for the roof, painted façade, and the interiors, made of exposed stone and chestnut wood on beams and ceilings. Built around the 19th century, maintains the original structure and gives a traditional and rustic halo, by preserving the canons of popular construction in the region.
The interior of the hotel maintains the traditional style with a touch of modernity. Exposed stone and chestnut wood are the axes on which the decoration of each room is based., based on warm, earthy colours with cosy lights. The furniture is mostly rustic in style, antiques belonging to the house itself as well as to other well-known houses in Vegadeo, which keeps the “da Veiga” atmosphere alive. They share importance with modern furniture, not breaking the style, but enriching it.
The Nine bedrooms are designed as a unique corner, where the guest feels at home, with different layouts, colors, materials and decoration. All rooms have their own own bathroom, flat screen TV, WIFI internet.
Originality is at the service of each person's taste: double bed or two single beds; room with velux or balcony... No two moments are the same at Casa Soto.
