From Friday, December 5th to Sunday, December 14thLa Felguera puts the finishing touch on the first quarter of gastronomic events with the most emblematic dish of Asturias: fabada.
In 2025, the 45th edition of this highly anticipated event will take place, where the people of Langreo—and anyone who loves a good fabada (Asturian bean stew)—fill the streets undeterred by the typical December chill. This gastronomic festival has received recognition from: Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, recognition that came in 2020 after forty years of serving and tasting the best fabada.
The bars and restaurants throughout La Felguera are packed, creating a unique atmosphere around the table. But the festivities aren't limited to the kitchen; there are also all sorts of cultural activities, such as the awards ceremony for the "La Mina y la Mar" International Digital Photography Competition and a lively market of Asturian products, rounding out a perfect experience for locals and visitors alike.
