The following days 10 and 11 of January of 2025 The days of our XIX Grand Chapter are being held, which will take place in the Foz de Morcín according to the following program:
VIERNES 10
At 6 pm, welcome to the embassy of Nabos e Companhía, a Portuguese Brotherhood sister to ours and from the Parish of Carapelhos, in the Concelho de Mira-Portugal. Afterwards, a Brotherhood dinner with the sister Brotherhood and all the Brotherhoods that wish to accompany us (Municipal Building for Multiple Services).
Menu: pita soup with noodles, boiled egg and curruscos; stewed pork knuckle with apple and cheesecake. Rioja red wine and Somontano white wine, Fuensanta water, soft drinks and coffee.
Dinner price: €15.
Saturday 11
· 09:30 h- Reception and welcome breakfast at the Municipal Building for Multiple Activities with the attending brotherhoods and guests.
· 10:30 a.m.- Solemn Religious Service sung by the choir.
· 11:15 a.m.- Parade of Brotherhoods through the streets of La Foz, accompanied by the Xácara bagpipe band from Oviedo and the Picu Villa Folk Group from Riaño (Langreo). The family photo will then be taken with all the Brotherhoods in the municipal park.
· 12:00 h- At the “Plaza del Cura”. Visit and tasting at the local agri-food product stands: Monasterio de Corias wines (from Tierra de Cangas), Afuega´l Pitu cheeses, Ca Mamina sausages, La Cofradía turnips, casadielles, other Asturian cheeses, honey, etc. Free tasting: Herminio cider, Santa Asturian beer, Reny Picot cheeses,
· 12:45 a.m.- Ceremony of the XIX Grand Chapter, in the Parish Church, with the appointment of Honorary and Regular Brothers.
Prize-giving ceremony of the 2nd Interregional and 12th Regional Turnip Cooking Competition: “Los nabos na cocina” of the IES Valle de Aller for Hospitality Schools. Organized by the Brotherhood of Friends of Los Nabos de la Foz de Morcín and the Hospitality School of the IES Valle de Aller
· 14:30 a.m.- Luncheon at the Municipal Building of Multiple Services in La Foz.
We will finish with a lively after-dinner conversation.

STARTERS ON THE TABLE: Guijuelo Iberian ham, Asturian cheese boards with jam and a small glass of crab cream.
MAIN COURSE: pot of San Antón turnips with “homemade compango” La Braña.
THIRD COURSE: hake in green sauce with prawns.
DESSERT: Brioche French toast with milk meringue ice cream. Asturian casadielles. Migayina.
100% “Lavazza” Arabica coffee, infusions and various breads.
Wines and Liquors from the Corias Monastery, Fuensanta water and chocolates.
