Organized by a cultural association: a group of people who love cinema whose main purpose is the dissemination and promotion of it, but not just any type of cinema but auteur cinema, independent cinema, cinema made in an artisanal way by committed people, the cinema that says things.
WHAT DO I OWE YOU, MALCOLM? and FILMFEST DOORS
What do I owe you, Malcolm? is the title of the documentary directed by Enrique López Marijuan, in tribute to the musician Malcolm Scarpa. They introduce him to us and we remember him with his sister Rosa Morillo Scarpa and Ana Hortelano, in addition to Enrique. We approach Puertas de Cabrales, in Asturias, with Pablo De María Díaz and its director, Francisco Alonso Llano. The tenth edition of the Puertas Filmfest, the town's Independent Film Festival, will be held there from August 14 to 17.
