The 2026 Portal Parties 11 will be held at the 16 in September, with a wide range of activities aimed at all audiences.
The program maintains the essence of the patron saint festivities and incorporates novelties at the same time.

20:30 p.m. · Town Hall Square — Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Portal Festival with musical entertainment . In case of rain, the event will be held at the Riera Theatre. The Festival Queens and Kings will enter accompanied by the Villaviciosa-El Gaitero Pipe Band; speeches will be given by the President of the Portal Festival Association and the Mayor; the opening address will be given by J. Antonio F. Robledillo (Antonio Roble); musical performances will be followed by a closing performance by the Villaviciosa-El Gaitero Pipe Band.

12:00 PM · Parish Church — Solemn Mass sung by the Capilla de la Torre Choir and procession of Our Lady of the Portal to the Town Hall Square , accompanied by the Villaviciosa Municipal Band, the Villaviciosa-El Gaitero Bagpipe Band, and the Villaviciosa-Aires de Asturias Folk Group. Following the procession, in the Town Hall Square, the Portal Dance will be performed. Return to the church in procession.

Council Day and Livestock Competition-Exhibition
The program announces that the Nuestra Señora del Portal Cattle Show and Competition and the "Daniel Trivín Memorial" will not be held due to preventative measures established by the animal health authority in response to Contagious Nodular Dermatosis (CND), which entail the suspension of fairs, competitions, auctions, and cattle markets in Asturias. An alternative program will be held in La Barquerina; the details and schedule will be announced by the City Council.
