Cangas del Narcea hosts the Cangas Quality Wine Harvest festival every year. In this Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias we will be able to learn about the tradition and culture of Cangas Wine. This 2025 will be from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12.
The staging of the transport of the grapes in a country car and the traditional grape treading are some of its main events, which are complemented by tastings, a market, handicraft stalls, sale of traditional products, a painting contest and activities for children.
At the same time, the Harvest Festival market. It displays and/or sells all types of products related to and/or derived from the artisan and agri-food industries produced in Spain. Preference is given to producers of products that are designated with Designations of Origin, Protected Geographical Indications, or quality and origin guarantee marks, as well as artisans registered in the Official Register of Artisans in their autonomous community.
Friday 10
· Opening of the Festival at 7:30 p.m.
· Twinning ceremony with the Oviedo Corn Torto Brotherhood at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday October 11
· Grand parade of brotherhood members through the heart of Cangas at 11:30 a.m.
At midday, the new full members will be sworn in at the Toreno Theater, and four new Honorary Members will be proclaimed. This year, this highest distinction of the Cangas Wine Brotherhood is awarded to Álvaro Queipo, president of the PP (People's Party) in Asturias; Maxi Rodríguez, senior member of the Torto de Maíz Brotherhood in Oviedo; Cristian González, chef at TPA; and José Luis Murcia, president of the Spanish Association of Wine Journalists and Writers (AEPEV).

From Friday, October 10th to Sunday, October 12th, from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and 16:30 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
Free admission and free visit.

TASTING OF CANGAS DOP WINE + KMO PRODUCTS
Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th at 11:30 a.m.
Surprise your palate with three heroic wines paired with local products, accompanied by words from Joaquín Fernández Díaz, Vice President of the Association of Wine Museums of Spain and a connoisseur of the region's wines.

CHILDREN'S HARVEST + THEATRICAL VISIT
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th at 12:00 noon.
With basket and scissors in hand, we'll harvest the Museum's vines, tread the grapes, and even taste the must. Then, at the Santiso Winery, the mysterious Reunbeiro, Teresina, and Renubeirin await us.
