On November 11th, the festivities begin at 09:00 AM with fireworks, bagpipes, and drums announcing their start. The traditional Mass of Saint Martin is celebrated , sung and accompanied by bagpipes, with most attendees dressed in traditional Asturian attire. After the Mass, the Puya'l Ramu takes place, an auction of spelt loaves displayed on a wooden frame.
Around mid-morning, the parade of floats begins , with dance groups and bagpipe bands winding through the streets to the sound of traditional music. After the parade, the traditional San Martín meal is served, featuring a menu of fabada (Asturian bean stew), casadielles (sweet pastries), and panchón (a type of bread ). All the restaurants and bars in the area offer this menu, which complements the cultural offerings of these festivities.
