The XLVIII Nava Cider Festival 2025 will take place over three days: July 11, 12 and 13. It is declared Festival declared of National Tourist Interest. Here we leave you the complete program of events that they have organized in the town of Nava.
Tuesday 8
18:00 PM. First pre-selection of the competition for the best natural cider made in the Principality of Asturias and Nava. At the Sorribes Cider Press.
18:30 p.m. Opening of the exhibition of works participating in the Festival Poster Competition at the Asturias Cider Museum.
MIÉRCOLES 9
17:00 PM. Final round of the competition for the best newly expressed and apple-based ciders made in Asturias. At the Sorribes Cider Press.
THURSDAY 10
18:00 p.m. Second pre-selection of the competition for the best natural cider made in the Principality of Asturias and Nava. At the Sorribes Cider Press.
19:00 PM. Street Theater by the ACAR Teatro del Mundo company and the play "Manolito Goes to Space." In Manuel Uría Plaza.
20:00 PM. SIDRAFORUM: “The Importance of Pollinators, Birds, and Other Species in Asturian Cider Culture.” At the Asturian Cider Museum.
Starting at 21:00 p.m. Chigre Songs Showcase at the cider houses of Nava with the Peña Careses de Siero Music Group. Participants: Casa Mino Cider House, Plaza Cider House, and Prida Cider House.
VIERNES 11
12:00 p.m. Semifinal of the competition for the best natural cider made in the Principality of Asturias and Nava. At the Sorribes Cider Press.
16:30 p.m. SidrArte. Artistic outing of the urban drawing "Scarabaing at the Cider Festival," near Plaza Manuel Uría.
18:00 PM - 19:30 PM. Performance by the "Teror Patrol" from Gran Canaria, a municipality twinned with this council since 1996. In Plaza Manuel Uría.
22:30 p.m. Performance by 'Orquesta Acordes' and 'Dj Pika'.
Saturday 12
11:30 h. Weekly market and parade with “The Gascons”.
11:30 a.m.–13:30 p.m. In Plaza Manuel Uría, there will be a tasting of natural cider made in Nava and local food products.
Cider mills from the municipality are participating: Sidra Riestra and Sidra Cabañón. Sidra JR is the winner of the 2024 edition.
12:00 h. Grand Final of the competition for the best natural cider Made in the Principality of Asturias and Nava. In the arcades of the Town Hall.
12:30 p.m. Presentation ceremony for the "Most Beautiful Label" organized by the Sidrastur Group.
13:15 h. “Baptism of Cider” For children born between the last Cider Festival and the current one. Prior registration is required by calling 985 71 60 08 until Friday, July 4, at 14:00 p.m.
13:30 h. Twinning Act of all the ciders of Asturias, organized by the Good Brotherhood of the Siceratores of Asturias in the arcades of the Town Hall.
17:00 PM. Asturian Natural Cider: History, the Apple, Pouring, and Introduction to Tasting by Juan Luis García. Limited seating. Price: €15, which includes a visit to the museum. More information at the Asturian Cider Museum or www.museodelasidra.com
18:30 h. Culetinos Parade through the streets of Nava, organized by the Buena Cofradía de los Siceratores de Asturias. Children ages 5 to 11 are welcome. Advance registration is required by calling 985 71 60 08 until Friday, July 4, at 14:00 p.m. (Rules available on the municipal website)
From 18: 30 h. pasacalles with the band “The Last and We March”.
Starting at 19:20 p.m., there will be a reception for award winners, officials, and the public attending the event at City Hall.
20:00 h. Awards ceremony for the best new cider ciders and apple derivatives made in Asturias and to the competition for the best natural cider prepared in the Principality of Asturias and in Nava, from the balcony of the Town Hall.

At the end of these events, the group "Les Ayalgues" will play the Asturian anthem and the chupinazo will be launched to kick off the "Nava Cider Route" (Pipes in the Street) enlivened by the band "La Última y Marchamos".

DOMINGO 13
11:00 h. XXXVIII International Cider Pourers Competition in Manuel Uría Square.
12:30 p.m. Parade with Los Gascones.
From 12:00 to 14:00 h. Tour of Llagarres de Nava in the 'Cider Train'Seats are limited by train capacity. Cider mills to visit: Sidra Roza, Sidra Vda. de Angelón, and Sidra Vda. de Corsino. Train schedule with free access: 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. Train location: behind the Town Hall.
From 14:30 p.m. on Las Huertas Street, Baja Street and surrounding areas 'Street Food'. Advance registration is required by calling 985 71 60 08 until Friday, July 4, at 14:00 p.m. Lunch will be hosted by the band Los Gascones.
19:00 h. VII Villa de la Sidra Choral MeetingOrganized by the Nava Choral Society "Allegro," which will perform at the San Bartolomé Church, accompanied by the Son Astur Choir from Oviedo and the Villa Blanca Choir from Luarca.
Starting at 22:30 p.m., La Misión and Nueva Banda will perform.
