There are more than 20 experiences, activities and events scheduled from April 24 to May 24The 6th festival will take place in Fuentes del Narcea: Cangas del Narcea, Degaña and Íbias.
Music, ethnography, crafts and local products are the protagonists of a program that reflects the authenticity of this region, helping to preserve ways of life and cultural expressions “in danger of extinction.”
The festival doesn't just showcase the region's natural beauty; it also sends a powerful message: preserving rural areas is compatible with innovation, the local economy, and responsible enjoyment. All activities are carried out using biodegradable materials and following principles of respect for the environment.
With the slogan #Bosquelízate, this edition reclaims the forest as an identity and wood as a fruit, and offers more than 20 unique experiences to reconnect with the land, roots, and ways of life that endure in a world that tends to forget them.
When they are released, we will publish them in detail, day by day.
The charity market will be held on the weekend of May 10 and 11 at Xedré, in collaboration with Funsiquín, to raise funds for cancer and support children in Pakistan.
And the Natural and Artisan Market, on May 24 in Muniellos, will bring together producers of honey, wine, wool, wood, and leather, with a full program of entertainment, workshops, and music surrounded by nature.
"It's not just a festival; it's a platform for those who continue to live, create, and protect rural areas," the organizers emphasize.
