The 2025 Cheese and Wine Contest will be held from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25 On the La Exposición track in Las Meanas: every year at the end of May, it offers the tasting and sale of a wide variety of Asturian cheeses along with the most outstanding wines.
This year, there will be 36 cheese stalls and 14 drink stands located on the La Exposición fairgrounds. Visitors will be able to taste and purchase cheeses made from cow's, goat's, and sheep's milk, with different flavors and textures. Among these will be some of the most renowned Asturian varieties, such as Cabrales, Afuega'l Pitu, and Gamoneu, among many others. In addition, eleven artisan cheese factories from other regions will be present, including Aragon, Cantabria, Castile and León, Castile-La Mancha, Extremadura, and Galicia.
· Cheese factory hours: 11:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. and 17:30 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. (Sundays until 21:00 p.m.)
· Winery hours: 11:00 a.m. to midnight (Sundays until 0:00 p.m.)
