The slogan of the municipal campaign for 2024 is: 'Oviedo identifies, contributes and acts with respect'. The programme is made up of 42 activities aimed at all audiences, between November and December. The institutional event will be on Monday 25th. It will pay tribute to women victims of gender violence and will present awards to the State Security Forces and the Local Police, at noon in the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium.
On November 25th there will be a day of reflection at the Red Cross; a workshop for children and adolescents entitled 'Mapping Violence' with Aldeas Infantiles; they will hand out awareness badges; the reading and performance of the story 'Arturo and Clementina' with the Juan Soñador Foundation, or the workshops 'Who's Who?' and 'Purple Shoes' with the Fundación Secretariado Gitano, among others.
On Saturday 23rd the race 'Sport for the family. 10.000 steps, equality and respect' will take place, starting from the Town Hall square and going through the Santullano linear park.
25N Institutional Act
The Principality of Asturias dedicates the campaign of November 25 of this year 2024, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to support and demand the breaking of silence in the face of sexist aggression. The institutional act will take place at the The Caridá Farms Cultural Complex, at Franco, on Monday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m.
