The "Fabes and Rural World" Exhibition, organized by the Villaviciosa Town Council, aims to promote traditional Asturian culture and highlight the rural world, with a special focus on "Les Fabes" (Asturian beans) within the exhibition displays. The event will be held in Villaviciosa (Asturias) on April 25, 2026 , as part of the Town Council's activities promoting the region's agricultural, food, and cultural sectors.
a) Asturian bean competition
• Exclusive participation for exhibitors covered by the IGP Faba Asturiana.
• Award: Best Asturian Bean 2026, with the decision on Sunday, April 26.
b) Stall decoration contest
• All exhibitors must decorate their stands with elements related to:
• Production, consumption or transformation of the faba bean.
• Traditional Asturian culture.
• Prizes: diploma and gift for the first 3 finishers.
