Parres City Council organizes a series of parallel events Cultural events to celebrate for a week. A Contest of Enrame de Fuentes is called, the Prize for the "Exemplary Town of Parres" is awarded, a tribute is made to the 'Countrymen of the Year', there is a Regional Contest of Escanciadores, workshops are held for the little ones, popular amagüestu, it is enjoyed with the performance of folkloric groups... the chestnut is an ideal excuse to celebrate and meet in autumn.
