We leave you the date of the Casín Cheese Competition 2025: Saturday, August 30, which celebrates 35 editions. The event will begin at ten thirty in the morning outside the Redes Park Interpretation Center and at the El Campu Livestock Market. Attendees will be able to taste and buy cheese from the three participating producers: Quesería Redes, from El Campo, La Corte de Tanes, and Ca Llechi from Piloña.

An event organized by the Caso City Council and the Asturian Cheese Gastronomic Circle to highlight our gastronomy and the municipality's star product: Quesu Casín! Open to the public, without geographic restrictions, with two categories: professional and amateur. Dishes or desserts, sweet or savory, always with Quesu Casín DOP as a mandatory ingredient.

The competition begins at 11:00 a.m. Each participant may submit up to three creations. The jury will evaluate the tasting (3%), presentation (50%), originality (30%), and other parameters (10%).
