There are three dates marked on the calendar. The Cangas de Onís City Council, Incatur and the San Antonio Festival Commission have organized Carnival 2025.
Children's Carnival – Sunday, March 2
Carnival begins with a day dedicated to the little ones. On Sunday, March 2, boys and girls will be able to enjoy a party full of activities: entertainment, workshops and surprises that will make the day a unique experience. In the Camila Beceña square and with a subsequent parade, provided the weather permits, through the main streets of the town.
Pet Carnival – Saturday, March 8
On Saturday, March 8, pets will be the stars. The celebration is on 9th Pet Costume Contest. Event that year after year adds more and more followers, both Cangueses and those arriving from other places in the autonomous community of the Principality of Asturias.
Grand Carnival – Saturday, March 22
There will be important cash prizes in three different categories: individual, floats and groups-brasses. The culmination of the Carnival will come on Saturday 22 March with the Grand Carnival and the streets of Cangas de Onís will be filled with colour, music and costumes. From the parade to the musical performances, this day promises to be a great gathering of fun and community celebration.
