It has started the fourteenth edition Contest 'The Best Fabada in the World 2024' with some restaurants from outside the Principality of Asturias.
The mystery jury will visit all participating establishments between February 9 and March 24 to choose those preparations that will go to the grand final.
Furthermore, once again this year, the best bean dish in the contest will win a financial prize of 1.000 euros, to be distributed between the establishment that made it and the producer of the beans used.
The jury of the contest is made up of the gastronomic journalists Paz Álvarez, Natalia Martínez, Ana Belén Toribio and David De Santiago, the cook Vanesa Caso, Miguel Rodríguez, member of the Cofradía de les Fabes, and the producers Antonio Palacio (Embutidos Naveda) and Victor Berdasco (Tierrina Vaqueira).
