Walking and eating in Asturias
A farturruta is a short route that ends with a meal in a restaurant. The farturrutes in this book are planned according to the ideal time of year to visit them. So you will bathe in paradisiacal beaches, you will cross magical forests, you will cool a bottle of cider in the snow while you contemplate some of the most spectacular mountains in the world and you will climb brañas full of color and life.
We finish the farturrutes in a chigre, a village bar. We wanted to associate the farturruta with more traditional cuisine, such as a tribute to an ancient culture that many women cooks have passed down from generation to generation. But you will also find some surprising exception.

I have been writing at Les Fartures for 15 years, where I can unite my two great passions: gastronomy and photography, whether of products or landscapes.
I am the author of the book Les Fartures, or where to eat well in Asturias, in Spanish and Asturian editions, the first gastronomic guide in the Asturian language.
I collaborate with several newspapers, magazines and radio programs where I talk about gastronomy and Asturias in general.
