The days 8 to 10 May A new edition of the International Climb to Fitu will take place, once again counting towards the European Mountain Championship.
The event venue is located at the Benito Pérez Galdós Cultural Center., where the secretariat and meetings of the sports commissioners are located.
The International Fito Hill Climb will once again place Arriondas and the Sierra del Sueve at the heart of mountain motorsport.The Asturian event will once again bring together prominent national, regional and international drivers, as well as thousands of fans who follow the race every year from different points along the route.
Her standing within the European Hill Climb Championship keeps her as one of the benchmark events on the calendarNot only because of the level of the participants, but also because of the atmosphere surrounding a track that has become legendary for motorsport fans.
The 2026 edition will also come after a particularly memorable race: Joseba Iraola's overall victory, which marked his first win at the Fito. This precedent suggests another highly demanding weekend, with a top-level competitive field and a renewed battle to etch the winner's name in one of the most emblematic events of the sport.

Given that the test contains dangers for the attending public, from the organization there are certain recommendations:
· Choose the highest places to enjoy the test, they are the most advisable.
· If you are at road level, the recommended distance is 25 m. at the edge of the road. If you are one meter high, the recommended distance from the edge of the road is 10 m. If you are two meters high, the recommended distance is one meter from the edge of the road.
· The areas prohibited for the public are marked with red marks in the direction of the route.
· Follow the instructions and respect the members of the organization.
· Leave access and evacuation routes free for ambulances.
· Stand behind the yellow "PUBLIC ZONE" tapes.
· Respect the environment, do not litter along the route and respect private property.
