From 30 from May to 1 from June of 2025 The festival and fair is celebrated with which Oviedo pays tribute to the work of the men and women of the countryside. The festival, with antecedents dating back to at least the 16th century, is declared of regional tourist interest.

The esplanade of Alfonso II the Chaste, Cathedral Square, will host 32 points of sale for artisan cheeses with the main Asturian varieties: Cabrales, Gamonéu, Casín, Afuega'l pitu…

Another 36 booths will be distributed among Eusebio González Abascal, Porlier and Mendizábal streets, and they will offer agro-food products grouped by sections: cider, spirits, beers, and wines; sausages, honey, ice cream, bakery and pastries, preserves, beans, and organic products.

· Craft Market
This year, there are 26 stalls offering jet, leather, ceramics, natural cosmetics, jewelry, wood, and more at Campo San Francisco.

Friday 30th and Saturday 31st. From 11:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.
Sunday 1st. From 11:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.

· Folklore Parade of the Ascension Fair
Through the streets of the city center on Saturday the 31st, starting at 17 p.m., with the participation of the municipality's folk groups and bagpipe bands, our Royal Bagpipe Band "Ciudad de Oviedo" and Vetusta, and as a guest, the folk group Arduriu Pixuatu.

· Gold Batting Championship
Saturday, May 31st, at Paseo del Angelín, from 12 to 14 pm, demonstration and explanation of the panning technique, as well as the characteristics of gold and the history of Navelgas gold, and from 17 to 20 pm, explanation of the competition rules.

· Ascension Market
In the Old Town area, Cathedral Square, Porlier and Eusebio González Abascal, we can find cheeses, agricultural products such as cider, honey, sausages, salted meats, beans, jams, natural juices, gluten-free products, etc.

· Workshops
Various artisan workshops are offered on Paseo del Bombé, free of charge and open to the general public. Those interested can register at the designated booth on the day of the workshop. Workshops include Faro pottery, leather work, bobbin lace and Spanish mantilla, seamless jewelry making, and wood carving, among others.
