The central region of Asturias is home to a rich historical heritage spanning from prehistoric times to the most recent industrial heritage. On this route, we'll visit an old favorite—the pre-Romanesque gem of Santa Cristina de Lena—and the lesser-known Romanesque church of Santa Eulalia de Ujo.

Itinerary 2: Surroundings of the village of Maliayo
Saturday November 15 from 2025 From 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.

In the municipality of Maliayés, rural Romanesque architecture reaches its peak, revealing landscapes where nature, art, and history come together. In this session, we'll explore the magical sanctuary of Santa María de Lugás and the pre-Romanesque church of San Salvador de Priesca.

Itinerary 3: Maliayés Romanesque II: Valdediós
Saturday November 22 from 2025 From 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.

Deep in the heart of ancient Maliayo lies one of Asturias' most iconic sites: the Boides Valley, or Valdediós. This site contains an architectural and historical complex that we will visit, seeking traces of the Asturian monarchy and the Cistercian Order. Tour: Conventín, Late Romanesque Church of Santa María, and Renaissance cloister of the Monastery of Santa María.

IMPORTANT: This tour, in addition to the corresponding registration fee, requires a €5 entrance fee to access the monuments visited. This entrance fee must be paid in cash and in the exact amount at the start of the activity.

Itinerary 4: The Romanesque of Nora
Saturday, November 29, 2025 From 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.

In the heart of the Nora basin, time stands still in stone. This route explores two Romanesque churches whose ornamental beauty invites us to journey from myth to history, revealing the last breaths of a style that embraces the dawn of Gothic architecture. Route: San Esteban de Aramil and Santa María de Nárzana.
