This celebration is distinguished by the construction of booths erected on plots of land previously reserved by youth groups in Prau Salcéu, near the Nalón River, and arranged by the Pravia Town Hall. It is one of the largest pilgrimages in Asturias , attracting around 50.000 people. This year, the main day will be August 9th.

Xiringüelu August 5th

Cider tasting in La Plaza Marquesa de Casa Valdés. (Town Hall Square).
Xiringüelu August 6th
· 17:30 p.m. XIRINFANTIL
Children's activities in the Plaza de la Colegiata in Pravia. (Small children 17:30 pm - Larger children 18:30 pm until 19:30 pm)
· 22:00 PM The BUSCAVIDAS and BROKEN LIGHTS to liven up the BEER festival (In the Town Hall square).
Xiringüelu August 7th
· 20:00 p.m. street cry in charge of YEDRA RIESGO ÁLVAREZ.
Historian and cultural manager, collaborator with RPA. Co-director of Semando Fest and the cultural podcast Héroes en sin nome. Also, the youngest festival herald to date.
Singing together by the XIRINGÜELU and the Anthem of Asturias (Miserere Pravia).
· 20:30 p.m. DISTRIBUTION OF THE PREÑAOS BUNS, accompanied by the dance group ¡BRISAS DE AGUILAR!
And since Xirin is for everyone to celebrate and dance together… there are gluten-free buns and a bottle of Foncueva DOP cider!

· 00:00 p.m. Fourth Street Orchestra and DJ (Sabino Moutas Park).
· The Grand Proclamation of MAJA and MAJO of the Xiringüelu Pilgrimage 2026.
· The grand and long-awaited proclamation of the KING and QUEEN of the pilgrimage.
Xiringüelu August 8th
· 19:00 PM Parade through the town of Pravia led by the Élite brass band (Sotrondio).
· 22:00 PM Dinner of the Peñas in the restaurants of the Villa and Court of Pravia.
· 00:00h Night enlivened by our TWIN DJ . (Sabino Moutas Park).
· 25:00h To kick off our long-awaited Sunday… POPINAZO 2026!
We will start on San Antonio Street and together we will walk towards Sabino Moutas Park where, in the company of our DJ, we will celebrate the awarding of prizes for the BEST STALLS OF PRAU SALCEU and the presentation of the TROPHY for the best Pravia decoration (everyone is invited to participate: commercial premises, bars, building facades, homes…)

Now then… the XIRINGÜELU begins!!
· 11:00h Street parade through Pravia, Yield the Way (Avilés).
· 12:00h Parade through Prau, Ceda el Paso (Avilés), Élite (Sotrondio) and DGT (A Coruña).
