- In July, from Wednesday to Sunday at 16:00 PM.
In our workshops we love to experiment with the same techniques that were used in the Tito Bustillo Cave: painting with fingers, brushes, charcoal… But prehistoric artists also used a technique that today we call airbrushing.
They created silhouettes, hands, and mysterious shapes by blowing pigments onto the walls. In this family workshop, you'll learn how they did it and put your creativity to the test with this ancient yet surprisingly modern technique.

[3] Point by point

In this workshop we will discover one of the most curious techniques of Paleolithic art: stippling, a way of painting by applying small touches of color with the fingers or with natural tools.
We will see how our ancestors managed to create figures and shapes using only dots, and then we will put it into practice to design our own works inspired by this ancient art.
· Aimed at families with children aged 4 and over. At least one adult must be responsible for the children they accompany.
· Duration: 45 minutes.
· General price: €2,50 (both adults and children). Reduced rate: €2 for Club Cultura Asturias, Cultural Passport and School Card.

[4] Hanging art
- Weekends in September, at 16:00 PM.
In addition to the works they created outdoors and in caves, prehistoric people likely decorated their clothing and tents with animal hides and other elements that have not survived the passage of time. In this family workshop, we'll use our imagination and our hands to create our own prehistoric tapestry. Let's get started!
