At Casa Vicente (Castropol), they're celebrating 85 years of doing what they do best: cooking excellent local produce and serving it in one of the dining rooms with the best views in Asturias . Facing the Eo estuary, in the heart of the Oscos, Eo and Tierras de Burón Biosphere Reserve , its large window transforms every meal into a small spectacle: natural light, the estuary, the Puente de los Santos bridge, Figueras, Ribadeo… and, at low tide, birds seeking their own feast on the shore.
Founded in 1940 as a family-run restaurant, today the third generation is at the helm, maintaining the same spirit in completely renovated rooms: spacious, bright, with a sober and modern decoration in shades of green, white and wood, comfortable tables and a friendly and attentive service.
The menu features fish and seafood from the estuary , along with a flavorful blend of Asturian and Galician cuisine. Classics like cachopo and pulpo a feira are also on offer, along with excellent meats and a carefully curated selection of breads .
