At 1.300 meters of altitude is La Corona del Auteiro. Located in El Auteiro, the highest area of the village of Valle de Lago, 9 km. by Pola de Somiedo (capital of the municipality), a strategic point within the Somiedo Natural Park from which the most outstanding hiking routes start: Lago del Valle or Braña de Sousas of low level of difficulty, Lagos de Saliencia or port of Somiedo of medium level and Peña Orniz or Picos Albos with peaks that exceed 2.000 meters in altitude, among others.

ROOMS
The Crown of the Auteiro is a cozy little house with only five rooms with independent bathroom, fully equipped and magnificent views to the outside. The two attic suites with the possibility of an extra bed for a third person have a fridge and microwave. The other three are on the first floor and have a large window that is part of the gallery of the house. The common room with fireplace, library and seating area It offers a space to share experiences and information with the rest of the occupants and they can also enjoy a complete homemade breakfast that is offered to customers every day. It is an ideal place to enjoy nature and rest comfortably.

ENVIRONMENT
El Auteiro is the end of the roadFrom here you can only access through tracks and trails to the multiple destinations of captivating beauty that this corner of the Natural Park offers. We can do it walking, by bicycle, on horseback, with snowshoes, ...

The dozen houses in the Auteiro, most of them uninhabited for much of the year, guarantee peace and quiet to the visitor. The same peace that will allow you to see wild fauna such as roe deer, chamois, bears, birds, butterflies ..., interact with the inhabitants of the place and their daily chores or be in contact and participate in the care of the horses, chickens and cows that we have.

However, if you prefer to go back in time, we will show you our "teito" hydraulic mill that, after many generations, continues to grind and that is a unique experience since it is the only mill of these characteristics that currently exists.
