Golden sands in Caravia

The beach of Espasa is about 1150 meters long. Normally the level of occupation of the beach in summer season is high. Semi-urban beach whose composition is sandy and with access for the disabled.

This coastal strip, included in the so-called Jurassic Coast of Asturias, also keeps an immense geological and paleontological treasure. Traces and fossils from that era abound, the findings have been archived and cataloged over the last decade and are now on display in the Jurassic Museum of Asturias.

We detail the characteristics of La Espasa beach in the Asturian municipality of Caravia.
