From Monday to Sunday from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 (including holidays, except Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve).

The Nativity scenes are located distributed across six locations, starting at the headquarters of the José Cardín Fernández Foundation, and ending at the Plaza de Abastos, a location that recovers the Monumental Nativity Scene of the Nativity Scene Association of Oviedo after the remodeling works of the market last year.
1/ Belén de la Oliva (José Cardín Fernández Foundation), work of the nativity scene artist, Nicolás Rodríguez.
2/ Nativity scenes at Casa de los Hevia, which houses the Nativity scene of the Raitana Association for people with disabilities, and the school Nativity scenes of the San Rafael School.
3/ Parish Nativity Scenes in the Monastery of the Clarisas (organized by the Cultural Association of Friends of Dance, «La Portalina» (made by the local nativity scene maker, Ovidio Vecino).
4/ Parish Church of Santa María de Villaviciosa (made by the local nativity scene maker, Ovidio Vecino).
5/ Neapolitan Nativity Scene in the Holy Week Museum of Villaviciosa (work of the nativity scene artist Nicolás Rodríguez).
6/ Monumental biblical Nativity scene in the Plaza de Abastos (made by the Nativity Scene Association of Oviedo).
Other parishes in Villaviciosa, such as Tazones or Poreñu, offer the possibility of visiting their nativity scenes this Christmas.
· VI Christmas Decoration Contest
The Villaviciosa Town Hall, in collaboration with the Association of Self-Employed Workers, Merchants and Services of Villaviciosa (ACOSEVI), is organizing the 6th Annual Villaviciosa Municipal Christmas Decoration Contest 2025. To participate, you can complete and send the registration form along with one photo or one video until December 15th to info@ayto-villaviciosa.org
The competition distinguishes various modalities to accommodate everyone:
• Shop windows: commercial and service establishments.
• Hospitality: bars, cafes, cider houses and restaurants.
• Windows and balconies (urban area): private homes in the urban area.
• Rural area: windows, terraces, facades, granaries and quintanas.
• Most beautiful corner at Christmas: neighborhood, cultural, sports or festival associations that decorate public spaces in the parishes.
The prizes consist of Acosevi gift certificates:
• €400 for the shop window and hospitality categories.
• €150 for urban windows, rural area and the most beautiful corner at Christmas.
In addition, 20 prizes of €30 will be raffled among participants from urban, rural and non-winning areas, and an additional raffle of €100 will be held among shop windows and hospitality establishments associated with Acosevi.
