What to do in Asturias this weekend?
Screening of the film “Luna”
Friday January 31 2025 at 19:30 p.m. Llanes. House of Culture.
Directed by Pablo Casanueva, 2024.
I have searched for traces and memories of my relatives in the places where they were after being repressed by Franco. I found myself at the borders, in the camps and in prisons with their story [and mine] hanging between the cracks, like old paintings that surface after a church is burned. Within the archive, the family and the public look at the images and read the documents again. All of this has built an intergenerational bridge that unites me with my grandmother and her mother.
