    What to do in Oviedo this weekend?

    Oviedo Green Half Marathon
    Sunday October 9. A sports party in the City of Oviedo, the start will be at the Palacio de Los Deportes, in the vicinity there will be a healthy breakfast, they will deliver the «Land'Sport» shirts with the number and their «CronoEmpate» chip. Several points of the city will be visited, the foot of the Naranco, accompanied by good live music to liven up and continue forward and reach the Cathedral of Oviedo.

    · This fall… Let's go! to Labor
    The Asturian company Teatro Plus premieres next Sunday, October 9, its latest work Geometry of the soul, a work that invites us to understand the universe through the evolution of forms and that opens the show program of the project Let's go! of Labor.

    · Misery with Leaping Theater
    On Monday, October 31, Saltantes Teatro takes to the stage of the Laboral Theater to stage the theatrical version of Misery, the cult work by the writer Stephen King, a psychological horror piece that will leave you glued to your seat.

    What to do in Avilés this weekend?

    Exhibition "About witches, dogs, elves and other fantastic realities" by Bego Antón
    From September 30 to December 11. Opening on September 30 at 18:00 p.m.
    Place: Photography Room of the Niemeyer Center. Hours: until October 16 from Monday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m., from October 17 from Wednesday to Sunday at the same time. Price: €4 (€3 for the reduced ticket for various groups). The last opening hour in the evenings is free, upon collection of the ticket at the reception desk.

    Danny and the Champions of the World
    The Club Room of the Niemeyer Center hosts on October 14 the performance of the British sextet Danny and the Champions of the World who visit Avilés to present their latest album Brilliant Light.

    Sounds the Dome in the Niemeyer Center
    Discounted tickets are now on sale for the new Niemeyer Center's Dome Sounds cycle, which this quarter features performances by cellists Alejandro Marías, on Sunday, October 23, and Javier Raúl García Cernuda, on Sunday, November 20, as well as as of the pianist Francisco Montero on Sunday, December 18.
    Club Cultura Asturias members can purchase their tickets at a special price of €4 until the day before each performance.
