These are some plans of what to do and what to see in Asturias, so you can plan a weekend getaway, or a full 3-4 days in our region taking into account cultural and leisure activities to enjoy an unforgettable experience. Plans in the main Asturian cities: Oviedo, Gijón or Avilés, and in the rest of the cities, towns and regions of Asturias.

What to do in Oviedo this weekend?

    · Stormy Mondays

Stormy Mondays returns to the Teatro Filarmónica to present their new songs and review their extensive discography (and they're sure to feature the song chosen by NASA to wake up astronauts). Stormy Mondays typically play very few concerts a year, in select venues, so don't miss this opportunity! The Teatro Filarmónica will be the closing act of their two-date tour: Madrid and Oviedo. Accompanied by their wind section and some special guests, they promise a great night of rock and roll, soul, and folk rock.
Price of seats: €20 for patio seats // €20 for mezzanine seats.

    · Theater in your center: CASSANDRA

Date: Friday May 23 2025 at 19:00 p.m. TRUBIA CASINO THEATRE.
A dramatic monologue that offers a retelling of the Trojan War through the myth of Cassandra, playing with time and bringing to the stage, from a modern perspective, reflections on women, war, power, and social awareness. One of the most fascinating myths, updated and revisited in a superb and powerful performance, not lacking in humor. Cast: Cristina Lorenzo // Text and direction: Sandro Cordero.

    · CCJP: Pablo Ferrández, cello and Oviedo Philharmonic

    Date: Saturday May 24 July 2025th, 19 at 00:XNUMX p.m.

    · Theater: Saudade

    Venue: Philharmonic Theatre.
    Company: La Westia Productions
    Duration: 80 minutes
Audience: Adults (16 years and older)
    Tickets: 10 / 8 €

We delve into Pessoa's universe accompanied by her, one of its main protagonists: Ofelia Queiroz. The woman who saved the poet from self-destruction tells us about her incomprehensible love and immerses us, through her eyes and memories, in the multiple lives and visions that Fernando lived. A review of the Portuguese author's career, work, and most hidden secrets, from the feminine perspective of the man who was his only love, accompanied by his faithful heteronyms. A journey of light, shadows, images, and impossible unfoldings. A melancholic and cathartic Portuguese fado into the depths of the human mind. A nostalgia, a memory, a sadness, a hug, a kiss, an absence... Saudade.
